(making old carb-engined cars rival new ones in mileage is a pet peeve of mine ).

QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4908584]Thanks again guys for all the comments!!
Yesterday on norway's national day, we finally got the car out of our dirty shed of a workshop and delivered her to the paintshop, not for several years have we been so close to finishing her and it is a crazy , but good feeling!
The last photo in the workshop before we tore her down for paint :
and here she is, standing on her own 4 wheels, a little high and a litte low here and there, but nothing is properly adjusted yet..
BUT - Comments about the wheels anyone? Do they fit the car u think, or not?
We recon to have her back for the week end again
Cheers
QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4914006]Som pictures from the paintshop, car was supposed to be ready today, but final inspection before paint revealed a really wierd dent in the roof, that I've never seen before... of course we had to fix it!
Therefore the car won't be back from paint untill tomorrow morning, but it is still a very decent timescope to have the job done within, it was there in the evening the 17th and then back again the 22nd, so we are still very very pleased with that!
Can't wait to get on with final assembly
Hehehehhe, wayne rooney was keen on the bird with the wrench, not the car - this time!! lol
BTW she´s the one who set up the facebook group for the car, gotta love her
Good progress with the car, lots of trim fitted, lights, complete drivetrain amoung other stuff!
Here´s some photos from when we left half an hour ago :

QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;4940399]It has been a while, and a whole shitload of work, since last update!!
Prasac : I will be stunned if it doesn´t make a 1000 at 15psi actually!!
But anyway, we have been to Denmark with the car on static display at DHB and it was really great fun to simply just have it out of the workshop for the 1st time quite a few years!
We shure did get lots and lots of great feedback and there was a constant flow of people surrounding the car - fun
Because of the ongoing strike in Norway, we did not get all the parts we were missing , so a few small issues still is left to do.
We tried to send the boost pressure from ic to T.body via a bluetooth connection but it did not work out very well...
The last week before DHB was very hectic, so few constructive pictures was taken.... but anyway, here is a little update of what has been done
new alternator bracket for a nice and compact toytota supra alternator is TIG´ed together and fitted :
Dynamat in the whole inside of the car :
SWR engeneering did the last touches to the inlet before the top lid was tig´ed in place, too bad this beautiful work has to be hidden....
New stronger rear tie rod bars , that also gives provision for adjustments that fixes bumsp steer problems.
A brown interior was probably a schorcher back in the 80´s , but now it is black with touches of carbon here and there, the modified door cards is one of many examples of what we did to the inside of the car :
Car on trailer, ready for the ferry to Denmark :
On display in Denmark :
I was actually abit sceptic to fitting the ford RS bodykit, but when it was properly fitted to the car, there was no turning back, it looked juuust right, and feedback from the viewers confirmed this aswell luckily :
A little rest now....i am tired!!
Can't answer... I know the price of the modifications I did, (obviously) but don't know the price of the whole lot...
