You'd be raging if one of your players shot a guy in the box and a pen was given.

Penalty looked a dead cert at the time without the benefit of replays and even with replays a lot of refs would have still given it, it was clumsy to jump and connect with the attacker in your own box.
Either way i thought after the initial half hour were Arsenal looked awesome Liverpool deserved it.

As I said last night...Babel penalty was far less of a penalty than Hlebs, but tbh I think there was a fairly good claim for it, and the ref gave it.
However the fourth goal would never have happened if the penalty had not been given/scored.
I do think that over two legs...we were the better side.....but Liverpool scored more goals.

However I don't think Liverpool have a hope of winning the CL this season.
They have been very fortunate over the two legs.

FPMSL, give it a rest. We've gone to 2 finals in 3 years - I think we know how to win this comp a little more than most.
Although - I do think Chelsea will beat us as I said when the draw was made.

Man United v Liverpool final for me and it's anyone's ball game from there. There's an inevitability already that Liverpool are going to beat Chelsea for some reason.

Also another point, might have just been me but i didnt notice much of this 'Liverpool European atmosphere'? Just seemed like a normal game to me, the media hype it up so much and ive got no idea why?? Arsenal didnt seem fazed tbh......

I was thinking this. Yeah there was a great atmosphere, but it didn't affect the Arsenal....just the ref maybe?

I hate alex ferguson....
Tbh...I would like Liverpool to win it now, because I hate Chelsea, and I hate the arrogance of most Maure fans.
Generally I find Liverpool fans to be a good bunch, and the players also.

How can you say it didnt?! You lost.
When you lot were on the ball in the second half and the whistles started 9/10 their was some sort of passing error or mistake which lost you the ball.

I'm on a tour of Emirates on Monday......rthat could be a sombre day out at this rate.
I'm worried that a knackered Arsenal side will get ripped apart by Manure......especially if they have an easy game tonight.

Makes no difference tbh. If you arent there you cant get a feeling for what the atmosphere was like.
I can tell you now that it was as loud as Ive ever heard it at Anfield (Chelsea semi in 2005 was the loudest), although were more periods where it went slightly quiet for a few mins.

I'm not sure that it was caused by that?? Who knows.

You really need to be there to experience this, you dont get nothing quite like the feel of the noise levels when watching on tv inside the grounds its amazing and im not just saying this coz im a liverpool fan, champions league nights at Anfield are deafening.
