You are the first person to say a bad thing about them, what makes you say that?

Camskill is by far the cheapest place mate for the T1-R's
Fad, your talking shite lol- (joke)
I know people have general preferences but i honestly can't see how people can say a bad thing about the T1-R's theyre such a popular tyre in the motorsport world and i can see why!

I have text my mate who reckons he can get me tyres cheaper than anywhere to see what he says. If he can't then I'll order them asap

Not really as everyone else I know who has had them (myself included 2 sets fyi) agrees. I initially thought they were good but then changed to something else then back to the T1r's and really regret it.
Average in the dry, wear really quickly and absolute crap in the wet to the point where I almost destroyed a nearly new set after an afternoon at Brands. Reason why they are cheap buddy!
I suppose yours prolly doesn't see much fastroad/track action in which case it will be ok I guess?

Nah they won't Fad. I don't really hack about and haven't done any trackdays. I do want to do one though so we'll see how they hold up if I do the trackday with those on.

No they are not? I can say bad things about then after having two sets? Plus the fact I have had Michelin Exaltos and Eagles f1's and the TR1's all within the last 16 months!
The reason people buy them is down to them being cheap in comparison to other stuff like Conti's/Goodyears/Bridgestones.
Up to you what you want to believe but do a search on Cliosport,Honda revolutions, Focus Owners club and Passionford the general consensus is that they are pish.

Anything is a better colour match compared with your Front bumper and the rest of your car

you haven't seen the paint match between my touch up paint and the front bumper yet
besides, it wouldn't be a ford without mis matched painted bumpers

Toyo Proxes T1-R's ordered in 195/40/17 as we decided last night I would almost certainly have issues with scrubbing on 205's and being as low as I am. Can't wait to get them but just missed out on the time where they dispatch them today so won't get them till next week.

eBay.
They're not legal as they don't have anything saying who made them etc. But I doubt anyone would even notice never mind do you for it.

What size do you want, Graham? (Tyres)
[Edited on 24-04-2009 by Phil W]
/edit - Just seen you don't need some now you've ordered them. The ones i sourced wouldn't have been any good anyway as they were 205's but found some Toyo Proxes 4's for £55 each.

Yeah I could get 205's for £56 each but 195's were a bit more but only by £20 all in. Will get them Monday.

Well I have had Facelift Mirrors in my garage from my last Fiesta, was going to get them colour coded when I get everything done, but fancied a go at spraying myself. Considering it's my first time spraying anything I'm happy with the result apart from the orange peel, but I couldn't get it out, maybe a T-cut will help.
Started life as Colorado Red
Rubbed down with 800grit wet
Grey primer
Pre-facelift mirrors
Colour coded Facelifts
Both mirrors on and also a shot of my plain front numberplate
Will get better pics when my wheels are on (hopefully tomorrow) and go to a decent location
