bit of advice
1-DONT PUSH PEOPLE let them come to you if they want they will and wont if they dont want to
2-make the website look clean and easy on the eye and easy to use
3-make sure your service provider gives you plenty of webspace/bandwidth ect b-coz if your sites slow people will piss off and leave

How have you got a site fund if theres no fee??

i used to run a club and to pay for the site,event publicity ect we used to do a bit of fundraising ect as i got sick of stumping up the bill each month

but i did alryte in the end as i had kids and sold the club name for a couple of grand haha
