Onuaha is a good CB/RB who needs to leave city for more football. He's had a few injuries though and he's only about 21 iirc.

I didn't say he'd set the EPL on fire as I doubt he will, but if he gets a chance, he will score. For a free, if he gets you half a dozen goals then it's not too shabby. Oh, and Steven Fletcher scored 8 last season down your way and is apparently worth £8m now, and he was never within 5 goals of Boyd! But you will find out quite quickly that he's a lazy bastard!

Steven Fletcher is VASTLY over rated
His goalscoring record in the SPL is woeful.

He most certainly is But come on, if he's worth £3m then Boyd for a free is damn good business

Without a doubt. I'd take Boyd far before I'd take Fletcher. Why he is so highly rated perplexes me

Likewise! Although I probably won't be saying that by the end of the season It's because he never looked like he cared. Any other great finisher in Scotland, the likes of McCoist and Larsson, gave 110% all day every day whereas Boydy didn't look like he cared.

Length of contract means fuck all these days as all players are free to leave after 2 or 3 years depending on age.

Yeah that's true.
Wouldn't mind betting he'll have a few break clauses and a set fee he can leave for in the contract.

We're in for Bullard, Lawrence and Ledley apparently. Would be happy with all 3, Bullard especially.

Its not like we even need to sell him seen as though we have £95.9m in the bank.

You dont actually have that money in the bank though, you did at the time of the accounts being made, but its purely cash flow - and I wouldnt mind betting mainly down to the huge bonds you had just sold.

Will be interesting who Arsenal sign this summer as they must have bags of cash - although attracting players when you've just sold your best one will be a tough one.

Do they have bags of cash though?
They say they do, and Wenger keeps saying its there if he wants it. If my team hadn't won a trophy in 5 years and there was cash to spend, I'd be buying some prolific players.

They have been making a profit on player sales for years, plus they have finally got rid of most of the Highbury development project I think, so should have plenty available.
I know they have loads of debt, but think their revenues more than covers it plus a load more.
