I'm looking at getting a bike but a DTR125, insurance is a little pricey but cheaper to run, tax, insure (in general) and good fun. Good call.

exactly. it's "compulsary basic training", on one of my attempts, I hit a pothole and nearly unmounted the bike..Also pulled in front of a car by accident, still passed. Needless to say I don't pull in front of cars now and try to avoid potholes too!

I beleive if you own a full car license, you don't have to display the L plates too & can carry pillions (if insured to do so)

That's what I was told by a member of bikechatforums.com, I'm riding about with no L's so I hope it's true, lmao. My brother's sister was also told this when she passed her CBT
