Still no joy with only having the one plugged into the back of the box

Is there something that needs to be selected after you have rebooted the box for it to scan for channels?

Press menu, it's the second option along the top "installation" then about half way down single satellite scan, then search should do it.

ummm out of interest under "satellite list" is there any satellite specified? You may need to tell it you want 28.2E before it will allow you to search? Didn't need to do that on mine though.

Got a camera?
I've had another look, and where it says 28.2E press "ok" and it should put a little tick next to it, then go out and it should then highlight the single satellite scan option, at least thats what mine just did and when I unticked it it blanks everything out.

You've got mail, just plonk it on a memory stick, plug it in to the box, and theres an option somewhere to upgrade by usb, select misc files then search for it on the memory stick or something like that. If you have any problems I'll do a proper step by step instruction for you

My cheap and nasty freeview box does that. Have to leave it on standby. Same with the sky box too actually.

No that's strange, I did turn mine off at the wall once but it kept all the channels I tend to leave it plugged on standby.
