Needs. that back cutting down. Guessing that's the plan?

Think um gonna wait till spring now and pick one up cheaper.

90, van back, 2" lift, F and R winch, sliders, mud terrains and air lockers. that'll do me nicely!!

My black one has - Mud terrains, 3" Lift, cranked radius arms, 200TDI conversion, front winch, tank guard, diff guards, uprated steering arms, and rock/tree sliders.

Main thing that will make the most difference is the tyres. Air lockers are silly money! Not really worth it unless your doing competitions.

Na, the back is staying how it is.

6.2 is GMC lump. Same as the 6.5

Yeh, does make sense.

Also, if you plan on taking people with you off-roading, you will want windows and not a van. Mates wouldnt stfu when I had the soft top on my old one as they cant see fuck all. Hence me getting windowed sides.

Looked like this when I got it:

Did, 3 engine changes (fitted my old 200tdi in the end), rear disked axle, braided hoses, roof and sides, paint body and wheels, springs, calipers, few other bits, winch bumper e.t.c. in 10 days

defenders are decent, but i use mine everyday so i prefer the luxuries of the disco and the fact i can still tow well with it by slapping a towbar on.

defenders look better, discovery drive nicer. Range rover 1 are a mix of the 2 and look awesome. All pretty much the same underneath

Going to Coniston Cold on Sunday to drive a Disco 4 for the afternoon. Went in a RRS TDV8 last time.

It's ok but they don't let you try anything too testing. Still impressive some of the stuff you can drive up and down though. Ok for free.
