Siri can remember certain "nicknames" for people - i.e. girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband.

If you say "tell my girlfriend I'll be there in 5" then it'll ask who your girlfriend is and then say "do you want me to remember that X is your girlfriend?"

So the it works better on a 3GS than iOs4.3 was a lie was it

Think ill hold off updating. See how all you lemmings get on, if you have working non slow bricked phones I will know not to update mine

Don't know whether it works better or not Jambo. The problem I'm having is with updating iTunes, not got as far as trying to update to iOS 5

Doesn't always work. Sounds like yours is fine but I know a few people having problems with theirs, needing to press a couple of times before it works.

Doesn't always work. Sounds like yours is fine but I know a few people having problems with theirs, needing to press a couple of times before it works.

Thats a hardware fault not software, Mine was replaced 2 weeks ago for the same fault.

My home button has just started playing up on me too.

Feel a bit better knowing that i'm not loosing my mind, or that i am the only one with that problem.

Possibly because you did yours weeks/months ago when there werent up to 250 MILLION people trying to do the same thing at the same time

To be fair, this is the first time that soemthing form apple has not been super smooth and simple but this process has been a nightmare

Well given that they'd released a OSX service pack, more than half a gig of iphone update and alot of people had to update itunes, its hardly surprising.

Ios5 is 500mb??? That's huge, the roms for my android are about 60-80 mb, you don't have to install the whole lot to the phone do you?
