Going to by BF3 tonight if I'm not seeing the girlf.
IGN had 290k people vote on 3 categories in which is better on bf3 or mw3,
Graphics mw3 23k, bf3 96k.
Multiplayer mw3 31k, bf3 67k.
Single player mw3 35k, bf3 40k.
At the time of the vote 700,000 people were online on MW3 compared to 300,000 on BF3.
It would seem all the BF3 players were on the internet trying to justify their game whilst the MW3 players were too busy actually playing.
Fucking hell though, why does it even matter? I have both and when I'm bored of MW3 I'll go back to BF3. They aren't all that similar anyway. It's like comparing FIFA12 Manager Mode to Football Manager 2012.
Do you mean how you will play one for the banter, but when you want a serious game which is far more realistic you'll play FM?

You're the biggest CS sheep in this thread mate..
What level are you on COD?
[Edited on 23-11-2011 by Jas]
Jas why do you keep picking out the ones who you say haven't played the game, but don't listen to the ones that do? I'm level 64 iirc, have played MW3 far more than BF3, but that's because a few mates have been on it recently. BF3 wins hands down for me. Even the campaign, which I would admit I would buy MW for alone, wasn't great.

Bit of a hypocritical question mate?
You've had your opinion Eck you prefer BF3 fair enough, I own both, played both loads. I Prefer MW3 "hands down"
We both own the games, the Sheep don't own both. Not sure how you can compare the two when you don't have it

He wont, he'll ignore it because he knows hes already losing this argument HARD.
That sheep if deffo jas, falling to his death, no parachutes on COD. Suppose he could have that ridiculous perk they had on Black Ops which meant you could jump from whatever height and take no damage. REALISM

Tell me Jas, why i would enjoy MW3 if i didnt particularly enjoy MW2 or Black Ops, both bored of after a few months. What radical new changes have they made, particularly with the game engine which i find incredibly clunky and linear? Have the graphics been massively improved because i found them to be very cartoony on MW2 too. What about realism, do they still have really annoying killstreaks? Have they got destructible environments yet? Or vehicles? They had vehicles in WaW but then bizarrely took a step backwards. Strange move really.
If you prove they have dramatically improved those things mentioned i my consider buying it and bow to your superior knowledge.

One thing i do really like on COD is how you cant see you feet when jumping over stuff.
And i really like how you float up ladders. Very megadrive and retro.

Answer my question. Why should i buy MW3, i wish to know why i should part £40 for a game when i wasnt fond of the previous 2. Have they made all the improvements i was looking for?

No, is the simple answer. They have went backwards since MW4. Three killstreaks, that was it. People didn't really camp and strive for 17 kills to get some helicopter follow you around.

I'm not saying you should buy it, But I don't know how you can make strong comments on how bad it is etc etc when you've never owned it

Well i didnt like the previous 2 games, they lasted about 3 months before i was bored of them and from what I've read they have made no improvements to the areas i wanted. So why would I like it this one?

I think the kill streaks have moved forwards to be honest, how often do you see kill streaks destroying your team in comparison to mw3 and black ops? You don't.. support streaks have sorted that right out.
You go on about how realistic it is? one is a war simulator one isn't!?
Halo.. one of the biggest online games ever...
W.A.W also one of the biggest online games ever
Neither are as realistic as BF3..They're games
If you love realistic War, plenty of places left in the forces? Sheep

First Battlefield I have bought since the online one available in the store, I didn't like the previous ones, I thought I'd give it another go, Wasn't too keen on it.
Bought MW3 on release date...
Therefore am entitled to an opinion on both.
It's like me saying I have Integra Type Rs are shit
although I've never owned one..

Its not though is it. I've played MW2, there has been no drastic changes to it since then, it will play the same because its the same game engine as from MW2. It looks the same as they havent improved the graphics. Even people who like this game agree that it is simply the same as MW2, with a few tweaks. A few tweaks was not was was needed for me to like this game and go out and buy it. I didnt like MW2, so i wont like this one. Simple.
What is so difficult to understand about that?
