Looks like the Android browsers does a completely wrong rendering of the font.

Interestingly the iOS Safarai also renders the font in the top menu wrong, I've always wondered about that. It's evident in Whitties screen where it says "you are not logged in". This text isn't the same font on a desktop browser...

Strange and very annoying from a web design perspective.

^ See, my 4 makes the same error as the 5 where it uses the wrong font for the top menu and messes the layout up. Very annoying.

Still, the rendering of all other text is much better on iOS. Wonder what's causing that...

probably the zoom, when you are browsing at medium zoom it looks no different.

I rotate 90 degress for browsing and leave it at whatever the default zoom is.

My mates GS3 which is the same as the one I tried in the shop, figured out the difference is because this is the stock browser
