Sky News coverage pretty poor! Dread to think about the BBC!

Is there a police officer on here? Stunned to find out that there are not many police officers who carry guns! I mean what the fuck, I want EVERY police officer to be armed. Surely they never know when real shit is going down so surely it's better for them to be armed? How a met specialist can make it justifiable for police to not carry guns is beyond me. He's advocating he doesn't want regular police to be armed. Yet, these killers were standing on the streets, if they suddenly went even more looney they could if wiped out every single person on the street! Even though we had unarmed police officers standing around there somewhere! Yet surely if armed officers turned up this could if been resolved so much more quickly! What a fucking farce!!!

You would never, ever want every police officer to carry guns if you dealt with some of the head case officers-armed police a selected and specifically trained, I wouldn't want any Tom, dick or Harry officer being armed

Police would be attacked more often IMO

how would one go about retaliating? unless a specific terrorist group take responsibility (which i highly doubt will happen), it seems the only way to get revenge would be to kill these 2 cowards before they get a chance to spend the rest of their days locked up in a nice prison complete with x box and regular free meals.
