Seems the Kroos deal was already arranged under Moyes, and LVG has sanctioned it to continue. Poor Davie Still need a Vidal in the centre though.

Sagna passed medical and agreed terms at City apparently. £150k p/w.

Good luck to him, hold him no ill will and he'll get a fine reception back at the club, like Kolo Toure. For the money we would have had to pay to keep him, we can get a new, younger model who in a years time should be at the same level and we'd have had to have done anyway in a year or so time. God knows who is advising Sagna that he's worth £100k p/w that he was requesting.

Suspect once this is formally announced, we'll have Serge Aurier signed up within a few days.

He'd do a job at Arsenal. He never truly got settled in at United with injuries and rotation tbh. Sitting in front of the defensive, he's a formidable wall to get around.

£150k p/w for what is surely a back up role?

I actually think they'll have him in mind more to push for a starting CB position (3rd choice and rotation after Kompany/new signing) and as a back-up RB, but yes - lunacy money for a 7.5-8/10 31 y/o who's had 2 broken legs in the past 2 years

The lack of fee has been divided amongst his weekly wage by the looks of it. Still ridiculous whichever way you look at it.

Aren't Man C on a salary cap? Surely thats going to make a real dent in it and they will shave to shift a number of people out.

I guess they have saved on transfer fees so can put it into salary

If your spending that on a left/right back what must the team cost ? 1.6 million a week?

They've ditched all the English players, so probably saved a lot there

Kroos is a done deal,

I believe it's just waiting for the right time to announce it.

The Vidal one is gaining. Apparently it was Alex Ferguson who tabled the bid for him.

I don't understand why Kroos would join united. Especially before the world cup. He's leaving the champions of Germany, CL football next year. For what? A massive wage?

If he had a good WC he could have his pick of Europe surely?

Therefore, I shall wait until its announced before thinking its actually happened.

And in more realistic news... West ham bid for Olsson from Norwich. Boom! Top half here we come. If we were gonna buy from Norwich, get fucking Snodgrass and Redmond in for 7m or so. Fuck sake.
