Couldn't quite get him down to 7

Low balled him at 6750, he said 7500, I go ok 7then, he's like no that's not enough, I may come down to 7400

I've held my hand out and said 7250 as I have to get a radio....deal done

Happy with that as there is nothing I need to do to it, just need a head unit literally get in and drive off, clutch is done, cambelt is done, recent service, recent pads, new front and rear anti-roll bars, wheels just refurbished, new headers, new forge dump valve and he'd washed it before I turned up

Question.. If i just got a wrx. Could I just stick in a VF48, pink injectors, walbro, then remap it and I'm looking at 320-350bhp? Or is there more to it?

I had that in mind when I wrote it, don't worry. I'm having a rethink here, might get one as a second car instead and WRX are so much cheaper. I could live without the Brembos lol

It would be not having a 6 speed that would piss me off

not sure on the WRX gearing but I hated it when I was full chat in the corsa screaming in 5th, desperate for another gear that wasn't there lol

think youre making a bad move brett, id say hold out for an Sti mate, I spent a month looking

I know, I know. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to buy one of these cars for £7-8k, all with 80k+ miles on. So many with rocky histories too. You can get nice WRX that's been owned by grandpa for a third of the price. I'm also thinking that buying one as my daily when I do 600miles a week is daft. Same money spent I could get a nice diesel (or more conservative petrol) of some sort and a WRX. Parts I listed would be £500 or less, me and mates fit, remap £250, STI powahhh! I've actually thought about buying a classic as a second car also. Loved my white STI, shouldn't have sold it tbh.

Could someone answer the question tho?
