To be honest I don't like fords as well so ignore that suggestion, although a s1 escort would be a nice car if you could get one for your budget.
I think bmw is the way to go personally. 635, 840 or even an e21 for the old skool. Then there's a e30 325 sport, e39 m5 isn't too much out of your budget for a ropey one, and then of course an e36 m3. All those cars will be a good fun car, and better than a cav lol.

Never quite saw the point in the Cavalier Turbo.
Always wanted (and still do) a GSi 2000 instead.

Crazy cheap. If I had the room and the money i'd snap that up Jim.
And I despise volkswagens, so that's saying something.

I don't why people would like a mk2 golf and not like the corrado.
Corrado is basically the faster, sporter, better looking coupe version of the golf, people actually own golfs and upgrade them with corrado parts.
It the same as liking a normal veyron and not liking the grand sport imo

Kind of similar to why people buy novas and corsas and not the calibra
I'm not a mk2 fan though and would much prefer a corrado, always liked them.

You would say that though. It's all down to personal preference at the end of the day.

I can confirm the 635 is a very fun car to drive on the road. Whether it's messing about at low speeds or enjoying a fast paced cruise down a B road.
