Bedroom and living room final coats done

Curtains in the bedroom.

Green room

Living room and curtains and fire.

Quite hard to photo the colour of that room.

used 2 different brands of paint. the jonhstones paint, red wall and green walls, was a fucker to get the edge tape off. had to touch areas in in a few bits. the teal, which was crown paints, not a single problem.

i need to learn to paint better so i don't need a masked edge. there is a term for that, but i don't know what it is.

happy enough with the outcome of the walls though. about to start taking stuff to bits here ready for the move on wednesday. need to be out on wednesday from here as people are moving in on thursday. pressure on.

I would like to back up the comment about creased curtains, I've been waiting 3 years and the creases are still as evident as the day they went up. Do it now whilst you can be arsed.

Looks absolute sp'on though Nic

It's on my list yeah of things to sort. I've found an iron board no iron though. Sure YouTube will teach me how to iron.

I don't understand how packing stuff up actually seems to make more stuff appear, and take up more space. I am actually running out of room to pack things up in to. Don't understand.

You need to learn how to cut in. That's the term you're looking for.

Buy a steam generator iron. Big fucking thing but makes ironing 100x easier than those normal pieces of shit. Ironed 8 work polo shirts last night and a pair of trousers in about 15 minutes.

Moved the first bits in. My mtb helmet and a plastic shelf. Feels like home already now.

Edit, asked them to leave the off cuts of carpet so I can stick them to the underside legs of furniture etc to hopefully make the flooring and carpets last longer. Put them upside down I mean on the bottoms of the legs.

the only questioning you need to do is to yourself. Tights on your rear lights tasteful.

But yeah. It's individual tastes. I'm going for the bigger picture in the completed room look, which will hopefully work out like my mind sees it I really like the green. Other colours are fantastic imho also.

Best I've got, will get more if you want? I quite like it. Was between that or oatmeal colour we got given the choice of when they offered us free carpets.
