And why do you need him? Who exactly is he going to replace in the starting line up?

I would pick him over any player to be honest. Aguero is only 21 and in my opinion has the ability to come close to being as good as Messi. Drogba and Anelka are not getting any younger so signing a player like Aguero would be a dream.
We rarely ever sign young amazing talented players like this, normally all old men we get lumbered with!
Obviously Kun is a striker/second striker.

Cech is a great keeper but he hasn't been the same since that big injury.
We won't sign Aguero though it's pretty obvious, Kenyon is a bit of an idiot.

Kenyon is more than an idiot. He is one of the most scummy figures in football. Horrible cunt.

Duff has signed for Fulham
Sol Campbell being linked again although it's being reported he'll have to take a 50% pay cut. I've said before I think he'd do a job in the championship but my concern would be that would mean Taylor is definitely going.
Should find out tomorrow whether the takeover is going through. If it is reports are Shearer will be manager in time for saturday. If it doesn't then I expect Taylor, Collocini, Gutierrez and possibly Carroll to leave before the end of the window

Pizarro has joined Werder Bremen and we have just signed 21 year old Serbia international Nemanja Matic on a four year deal!

TBH he may be a great signing (not player wise, but role filling wise).
Fact is we've Skrtel out with a (basically) broken jaw, and Agger is out with a fucked back - both 2-3wks apparently.
We have two great youth centre backs in Kelly and Ayala, and they'll get a chance, but this guy is obviously there as a 4th choice CB to fill in if needed.

Agger hasn't been consistently fit for a long time has he. Not since that major injury he got a season or two ago. (I think two seasons ago at the start)

He broke his metatarsal, then was rushed back too fast and did it again. Basically put him out for most of the season. He came back, and as normal was keeping pressure off his foot and put more on his back - doing that! Since then he has just not got right.
Im hoping now he'll get sorted. He is an amazing centre back, and him and Skrtel could be our first choice for the next 8yrs!!!!

Im serious, I know someone actually involved in the discussions so know its 100% true.
The fact the story broke in 3 papers at the same time proves it came from the club, and that indicates it came from Rafa who is doing his usual self and trying to push the 'we have no money' button.

He has a cracked bone or something or other in his jaw. His agent has said he is out 2 weeks, Rafa has said we'll see how he is before the game. Ive leanrededed he took part in part training yesterday and full training today.
And Im not joking oRbbo, I know people who know things.
