no its a cheap mount lol like my wank one just made by some slanted eye cunt.
Ill slit it at work and bend it to 90 then weld it up

Amazing thread just sat and read though it all, real car to be proud of this one! One thing I have spotted with the xe, are they blue injectors? or has someone painted the creams that the dizzy engine should run. Just a heads up.

Yea i think they've been painted,are they ok to run with this engine? They came with it that's all.

Unlucky with the mount mate, it is only minor though so you could have a go at straightening it up ?

If there the correct Cream under the paint then yeah.

End should look like this


Later Coilpack engines use blue injectors ends look like this.


Flow rates are different.
XE creams 0 280 150 744 214cc/min@2.5 bar
XE blues 0 280 150 427 241cc/min@3.0 bar

Make sure FPR is correct and Injectors just incase someone has swapped them thinking they were doing good when you dont want to have fueling issues after the conversion mate. Hope this helps

Update 6.2.2012 :

Today after work i went to do abit more on the RS4's but got distracted with the engine and did abit of work to it.

Started off with removing the rocker cover and cleaning all inside ready to fit the modded L piece. Had a look round the other forums and found out where to cut it.

Gasket fitted



How i started



Fitted HD leads





And then fitted the L piece and cam cover but the timing belt hasn't been done yet but couldn't resist fitting it.









Also i've gotta sort them two threads on heat shield so i can fit my chrome one
