Completely agree! Which is a crying shame, because it really is a thoroughly good movie, it just got hyped beyond reason.

Sometimes I wonder if I might have liked Drive more, had I seen it before it was pounded in to my head how amazing it is... Seemed to work with Hurt Locker.

Quite a good film tackling a difficult matter with a slight bit of humour thrown in.

Shit ending though.

7/10

Terrified to watch this.

Its good, hard hitting in places but tackles the issue well.
Ending is ok just a bit, shit and sudden.
You will like it I think, well worth a watch.

Downloaded last night...

Karate Kid- turned off after 30 minutes, utter shite so 2/10 for what I seen.

District 9- turned off after 20 minutes, utter utter shite. Thought it was a joke at first but then 2/10

THEN

Hangover 2- not as good as the first one IMO but solid movie. The ladyboy part had me crying 7/10

Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga'Hoole (3D)

First 3D movie I've seen at home, so a few comments about that.

First off, the movie - 8/10
Unbelievably underrated. Really enjoyed it and if nothing else, if you have a proper setup at home the sound and visuals are nothing short of spectacular.

3D experience - 10/10
Undeniably the best 3D experience I have had. There has obviously been put a lot of effort in to implementing the format and making it part of the experience.
Keep in mind that I am generally NOT a fan of 3D and this has not made me a convert. But it works.
