A sticky bar is always good to carry. Boosts are good.
What tyres are people using? I keep getting punctures in my Nobby Nic's. I've fitted a liner between my tyre and inner tube, but today I've cut the side wall.
I can't fault them for grip, but they just seem to pick up punctures all the time.

Been to a place called drumlanrigg today near Dumfries. Very natural trail for 90% of it riding over roots, nothing smoothed out really. Good fun.
In the last 28 days my strava says I've done 15 rides and 173 miles. Ain't bad.

No...not yet. It is an absolute steal considering the spec. But I'm saving for a house and can't really justify it. Especially as I bought my Kalula about 6 months ago with a hefty work bonus.
But if I get some Hope Hoops for my Hustler and the new headset it needs, I'll be pushing £400. If I can get £800 for my Hustler, that's only a deficit of £600.

Yeah, but you need to ring ASAP as they might all be hired out, if they have maybe try Mammoth Cycles at Milford.
Swinnertons is £30 for 3 hours or £50 for a full day if it's the same as when I hired from them.

Has anybody had any experience with the Viking range of road bikes? I've had a knee op and I'm wanting to get a road bike as it looks like I'm going to have to give up football and golf, for the foreseeable future at least.
I'll probably be getting out with a mate on a couple of 10-20mile rides a week, when the weather is right. I'm currently buying a house so the budget is incredibly small and wondered if this would do as a starter:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VIKING-ROMA-GENTS-MENS-ROAD-RACING-BIKE-BLUE-16-SPEED-STI-SHIMANO-RRP-413-/330931627802?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&var=&hash=item4d0d0fe71a
Or is it a complete piece of shit?
Ta.

Steer clear of viking, heavy and cheap components! spend another £100 and get a second hand trek 1.1 or the like
