Cheers Shaun,so am i.

Well the progress with the bay is it's all welded up and sprayed but looks abit of a mess as Ash's welder packed in. He says the welds are good enough but could have looked better. I daren't put pictures up.

Not sure what to do though as my dads mate is a welder and said he'd redo it if it was him. Like my dad said,if i want it doing might aswell get it done properly and looking good.

What we reckon? I'll get pictures tomoz.

But i hate waiting about for people. I'll end up getting all engine ready then have to be waiting about for it to be re-welded. :/

If your not happy with it now it will only end up bugging you mate. Will you be able to see the welding when everythings in?

No mate you won't see it. Radiator will cover it hopefully.

It's not bugging me of how it looks,it's just if it's a good enough job Ash says it's fine as he did put alot of weld into it as there was a little hole in the passenger side. Just my dad's mate said he'd redo it. He's done welding for past 20 years.

Gearbox looks good dan!

Re-do the welding purely on the fact that you are having doubts now so it will only get worse as Shaun says

Yea I'm going to thinking about it,what's point in doing all engine and bay nice and tidy and then leave welding bodged :/

What about the gearbox? Gonna love that even more,that's why I've lacquered everything as its now very easy to clean.
