I tried Hardcore but it still seemed to take several shots to kill people? It's a great game, but currently I still prefer COD. Can see it not being put in the console again once MW3 is released.

I tried to play COD after playing Battlefield for months and I couldn't get to grips with COD again

Sounds like they need to do some updates although hardcore on BC2 was never one shot one kill so would expect it to be the same on this.

It's an epic game, no doubting that, I think I just prefer running round and having to have lightning reactions rather than taking it slow and waiting for people to come into my sight. There's a name for that style of play in COD, it's called camping

do you play conquest brett? i find there is alot of action on that on BF3? especially on some of the smaller maps like metro and that seine river one and the canal shipment level or whatever it is

I don't get much time to play generally so I just go on quick find tbh. Only thing I've tried with adjusting settings is Hardcore. I'm not familiar with all the game modes to know what's what.

It's also weird when it spawns me literally next to an enemy and I just shoot them?

Conquest - basically domination on cod, hold the flags and if you hold more than the opposition it starts to knock down their points aswell as getting deaths.

Rush - attack the 2 mcom stations. Blow two up move onto the next 2 etc.

Squad dm - 4v4v4v4 (essentially 4vs12)

Squad rush - same as normal with fewer peaople, slightly more tactical than just running to mcoms hoping not to get shot lol.

As soon as you get a nice tactical game going its great, on squad rush as attackers you used to spot and follow the enemy, all kill them at the same time then rush to arm the mcom then defend it or nade spam it..

I love stuff like that!

I prefer COD as it's more frantic and you see people more often. Like you say though, BF3 is still a very decent game. Will keep me busy for the next few days anyway.

I always play CQ now, seem to get loads more points than Rush.

Been paying core as well whilst i learn the maps, i hate not knowing where im going

Best score so far, nothing special but good for me
