Got that coming for the handlebars will use the current light on helmet instead as long as I can mount it better so it doesn't keep on slipping and pointing down!

of course i will. often my bike is pointing not the same way I'm looking. you cant look at the exit of a berm for example with a light on the frame as you are looking ahead.

i dont need to explain any further.

Hopefully getting my voucher for the ride to work scheme sorted tomorrow!

Looking at getting the Planet X XLS 105 Cyclocross, seems like a bargain for the spec you get.

It'll be my first bike for about 5 years since i got rid of my Claud Butler Cape Wrath Carbon, really looking forward to getting back into it!

Can anybody point me in the direction of good, but not massively expensive accessories? (Lights, Bags, Clothes, Pumps etc)

Are you taking it off road as its a cyclocross bike or is it just for rd riding as onone/planetx do some good carbon rd bikes and very good carbon mtbs such as the dirty harry 29er for around 1200

Wondering if anyone could recommend a front fork..

Looking for something to go on a rock hopper comp, needs to be at 100/120mm travel, take standard Q/R and be fairly lightweight.

My knowledge on stuff like this is a little outdated hence needing assistance

Also, ideally want to buy 2nd hand so get more for the money, best places other than ebay?

I did see that. Says £180 on their home page, go through to buy and they're £200. The one I want isn't in stock either. Typical.

Have you got one of the single units? I bought one which claimed to be 1200 lumens, but it was only as bright as the Hope Vision 2 I had, saying that though, for the price they are great! I've just bought an Exposure Toro MK5, 1200 lumens

Ive got a maxxis 2.1 front and a 2.0 rear and the rear is wider overall. A freind rruns recon golds and tried conti rubber queen 2.25 and they rubbed in corners rock shox forks are renouned for shite clearance wait till you ride in the thick mud in winter and your tyre clogs up and fucks your forks

yeah I've got one of the £16 ones, it's pretty decent for the money. It's all I have at the moment and I can get round ok with it on the bike but I can't see as much as others who have helmet and bike mounted ones hence buying more!
