Cheers for the comments guys Hope everyone had a good christmas btw!

Little update to add. I decided after the state the corsa got in last winter that I wasnt going to use it again this year. Plus now that the underside been sorted I want to keep it rust free

Luckily my sis said that I could use her clio for a few months. Its been sat in the garage for nearly two years now so I whacked a new battery on it, did a few checks and put it through an mot...which it failed Needed a new brake cylinder, tyre and there was an earth problem with the rear lights. but the rest was just the usual stuff like headlight allignment etc.

So I swapped my insurance over and put 6 months tax on it. God I'd forgotten how nice it is to drive a standard car So quiet and comfy! Its slow as hell though lol

The corsa was then sorned and I popped it under the carport so it can stay nice and dry

The clio was in desperate need of some loving though. It hadnt been washed since we got it so I spent an afternoon cleaning it up and putting some paint protection on it.

Finally my parents very kindly went halves with me on some Newman 264 fast road cams for christmas Got them from Philip2 off here who got me them cheaper then retail, cheers again mate!

Profiled from blanks

Cant wait to start stripping the engine down now! The plans are -

- Fit my new rebuild cylinder head
- New GM lifters (my current ones tap a bit and I dont know the condition of the ones that come with the new head)
- Going to try and hide some wiring which alex will approve of
- Fits the cams along with new belt etc
- Looking into Dasktek unichip management as well so I can get the best out of the engine mods That will be for the future though.

As soon as my exams are out the way I can crack on

Fuck the blue plug too, I'm having one on the outside of my car
