Would you say it was fine should a Chavski, United, Liverpool, Arsenal of come in for him?

I don't think any club should relentlessly publically pursuit another clubs player personally but I suppose it happens. If it were one of the top 4 you'd feel more sympathy for him but he's going to be joining a poorly (relatively) supported club with artificial wealth so it appears on the face of it to be a purely financially based decision.

I get what you're saying Cosmoan, but at the end of the day, City flashed the cash and they went.
Least with Johnson for example a successful team with success and tradition behind it came calling after taking an interest.
There is a differance.

I know their is a difference, as Lescott would never of gone there last summer for example. But I do think he can somewhat justify his move that he is moving to a club with more ambition and a greater chance of winning things than Everton.
Still, i dont give two shits. I dont like Everton so glad they are a weaker team, and dont care about City so glad theyve wasted a hige amount of money.

Enrique is the latest player to be linked with a move away.
Just hoping with the extension the club have given to Moat there might be a decision on the takeover this week

Ok 212 million plus the Lescott deal at 24 million.
Apart from that first season in 03/04 the spending hasn't actually been tooooooooooooooooooooo bad, yes it's still a lot of money before you say but when you think Madrid paid 80 million for one player.

I cant be arsed adding them all up, but from a quick look on soccerbase it appears to be around £200m and not over it (or much over anyway).
