Outside of the car looks good.

However, Why the hell didn't you mask stuff before spraying the bay? Overspray looks shit. Sorting the rust would be a great idea while its only in it early stages and your doing all the bay anyway.

Little bit more time and effort could have made it awesome.

Sorry Dan but I agree with what Alex is saying. All looks like a half assed job to me. You could've done a far better job than that if you put your head to it.

Loom looks spot on Dan but whats going on with the overspray dude Slap on the wrist there lol. If you can get some of that off it will look loads better. As you said some new lower arms would be a nice touch too. Plenty on ebay mate with bushes so you can swap them straight over. Might as well do them while the engines out eh

Keep us updated with it anyway Dan! Plenty of time before PVS so take your time mate and make her a minter

Internals of engine are hidden, thats why you're not rebuilding it?

The difference between a great bay and a OK bay is what you can't see.

You can see some of it, I don't care if you can see it not, It should be perfect.

Sean : It could be mate but i can't tell.

Kieran : I'm just going to clean it,i've sprayed bits on the top where i've smoothed it over.

Jaffa : I'll just probs buy some new spankers.

Mark : Thanks mate

Alex : I hold my hands up,i should have masked them off. :/ Some of it i did but with the brake lines etc at the bottom i wasn't too fust as i can't see them but that's not the point, isee why you've said it. If the exterior looks so good i should be doing the same in the bay. I agree with ya, i have rushed it abit i admit that.

Jamie : I agree mate, i will be neatening it all up. My bad.

Shaun : Thanks dude. As i've said before to Al' and Jamie,my stupid fault,i did rush it and i shouldn't have. :/ I reckon i'll be getting some new arms and bushes then. Yea there is still plenty of time to fix things.

Bigron : I agree too mate, will be fixed very soon.

Kev : Thanks alot mate,oh right... I suppose 'cos it's got all weight on back the springs will have more weight on them. Might jack it up and get them out or just lower front down more. Engine won't be long in anyways so might not bother.

Matt : Yea as Al' said it's the wiring for the lights etc. Just wanted to neaten it all up. No i haven't intended doing it. I haven't heard the engine running but the lad who i got it off had driven it that week i bought it. He drove it up and down a lane to make sure it was ok so i'm going with his word and it will hopefully be ok.

Lee : Cheers mate but i deserve the stick,it's not my standards at all.

Sorry for the big essay everyone, wanted to make sure i replied to everyone.

Good on ya Dan I don't like putting peoples work down but you have the chance to make this a proper nice looking conversion while the engine is out so might as well do it 100% eh Even the bits that are hidden, take your time, you will be a lot happier with it in the end

I know mate,as i've said before, will be going back over it all and making sure it looks neater, can't be that much of a job. WIll be straight on it tomoz after work and get another update.

Thing is though it's now doing my heading 'cos i know it's bodged, just want to sort it now.

I'm glad you took it on and now plan to do something about it.

I'm at a similar stage with my car, I really want it done but cutting corners (Which I admit I have done in the past), would piss me off at a later date when I see it again.
