Looks a lot better now.

Did you buy it with the intention of spending some money on it? Just seems like rust removal + paint + new roof etc isn't exactly cheap...couldn't you have just bought a better MX-5

Put the Z4 on axle stands and removed the alloys ready for refurbishment on 2 wheels and 4 new tyres.

A quick wipe over with Meguiers last touch and a microfiber and they've come up as new, including the barrels. Gtechniq C5 works wonders

No idea. Think that allows for heated rear glass good to fit, I assume that's why. Handy in a way as that's what I have now

Bit more painting done, must have painted this bit about 3 times in the past but never been happy with it so sanded it all back and painted it body colour, was previously POR15 paint that came out lumpy

Primed with the rust encapsulator paint

Painted and lacquered (not the best finish but gets hidden under the scuttle trim

Also a very shit dad joke, I mean if you were going to push the MX5, you'd push on the boot not the rear window.

They look a bit small if I'm honest. Smaller than the standard wheels?

Dropped my alloys off to be refurbished and have new tyres fitted. Love my little pocket rocket ST
