errrrm yep. One thing Arsenal always are is above board. We have business ethics unlike dodgy Arry.

I suppose business ethics is worth it, rather than winning anything these days.

You are making it sound like you have just allowed the worlds best player out on loan tbh

Agreed with Ocsmo tbh, never seen anythign of him to show that he's this great star in the making as you all say

Think I saw him play for the U21s a little while back and looked handy, maybe this season loan will help him develop - no Wilshere though

He's just a good young prospect that's all

Scored 11 goals from 33 games in midfield for watford last season, which is a good return because they were poor

And was impressive in pre-season with us

TBH though he'd start in Liverpool's midfield every week

Agreed with Nismoleon that winnign thigns is what football clubs exist to do but at the same time, running a well organised, self sufficient, ethical business is important these days - especially with all the debt flying around and the new regs coming down from FIFA/UEFA etc.

Hopefully the days of Jack Walkers, Roman Abrahmovichs, Dave Whelans, Sheikh Mansours, Flavio Briatores etc. wil lbe over soon and mroe teams will become successful int he same way that man Utd did (albeit at exactly the right time with the Sky money appearing etc) or by runnign a sound business like Arsenal have done.

What I dont get is why Bayern were willing to spend £18m for someone Real obviously dont want, then they suddenly accept £10m less.

And how the fuck do they not know if its a done deal by now? They either got the fax/email to the PL before 6 or they didnt.

Shows how much Real valued him tbh - prepared to drop £10m just to get rid of him

Abasolute BS either way, as I said last night

SSN saying they missed the deadline but Spurs hope for special dispensation from the PL to allow it.

Why exactly? What makes them or this deal so special that they should be allowed something other clubs could not? Just because Harry found a last minute deal?

Tough shit rent boy to the jews, should of gone in for him earlier if you wanted him.

They should be allowed to do this deal, I mean they've only had all summer to sort it out and thats obviously not long enough

Absolutely agree that it shouldnt be allowed. There literally cna be NO extenuating circumstances as to why they coudlnt get this deal through.

Citing technical difficulties with processing the transfer... yes, the fact that you didnt try to sign him until 2 hours before the deadline due to the fact that at that poitn RM panicked and tried to flog him as cheaply as possible
