Cheers lads jrdn you still need to get a project up for your beast

Bit of a annoying update. Just had the last of my rebuild parts turn up. Ordered new GM cambelt, 16x GM lifters and a GM oil filter. Just had it all arrive today to find they have sent me shitty aftermarket parts instead. Pissed right off

http://www.vauxhall-car-parts.co.uk/ - Avoid!

So going to have to send all this crap back now and re order it all somewhere else so I can get what I actually wanted. Thinking Autovaux?

Yeah I wasn't too worried about the cambelt and oil filter really. But I really really want GM lifters as I've heard aftermarket ones can tap. I'll get there in the end

Well I've just managed to source 7 brand new GM ones on ebay from a Vaux dealer for £1.99 each I just need another 9 now which hopefully Ad can get me from Vauxhall on trade. I paid £6.95 each for the cheapo ones.

Not 100% how much they are normally though mate sorry.

Right ball ache ya had with the parts mate! I was going to buy a few parts off that crowd when I got home, thanks for letting me know about this!

I'll be getting my thread up soon enough Shaun. Bought a new engine & GSi geabox, -40mm suspension, subwoofer, 6"x9" speakers, shortened bump stops, depos, clear tail lights & a few other bits for it. Starting my thread off with a bang!
