Hustler's dropped off to the LBS for some Hope Hoops (Stan's Crest rims) and a few other tweaks.

Try and get it down from 34lbs

Pleasant but foggy night ride up at whinlatter with jumbo the barbarian this evening. Very impressed at the eBay light, definitely the right move for one on the bike and one on the helmet.

Twas a good ride out tonight. You can't beat that "fuck, I think my lungs are coming out my nose" feeling. Wish I was thinner/fitter.

I fucking love that first photo, it's epic. Night riding is a whole heap of fun. You boys need to get amongst it....

One of the best things about being a chubby fucker on a bike(in fact the only good thing) is that you get absolute bargains sometimes - fat bastard sizes seem to be a swear word in the roadie community and they often don't sell them - just bought a Castilli wind proof jacket, winter gloves, over shoes, over socks, those Castilli toe thingies - arm warmers, leg warmers, new buff, more chamois creme, a thermal under helmet and merino base layer - total savings were well over £200

Evans seem to have bought too many Xxl sizes and need warehouse space!

Yeah photos don't work!

Anyone have and pre-ride rituals / needs? Pre ride dump? Going on a ride straight from work, not sure if I shall fit a dump in, may be touching cloth later.

Was in a trailer place for work earlier where they had Thule tow bar bike racks. Was looking at the euro way g2 3 bike one. £350 from the shop. Wondering if I should buy it and keep the BMW or sell up and get a van, probably a t4......

Just gonna put this here, if you or anyone you know is interested, let me know

Selling my 2013 Orange Clockwork due to lack of use, purchsed the parts during Feb/March and it was built in early April.

Spec as follows: -

- Sterling Silver frame in XL
- Hope Headset
- Mavic TN719 with Hope Hubs and Conti Mountain King 29x2.2 (Blue, 20mm Front, 9mm QR rear)
- Rockshox Revelation RL 29" Dual Air 1.5" Taper (Spaced down to 120mm)
- Shimano SLX M670 Triple 175mm with SLX Bottom Bracket
- Shimano SLX M670 Brakes (180mm Rotors)
- Shimano SLX Front Mech,
- Shimano XT Shadow+ Mech
- Shimano XT Casette 11-36
- Shimano XTR Chain with Wippermann Connex quick link (re-useable)
- Hope Eternity Seatpost 400mm
- Hope FR 70mm Stem (Blue)
- Crank Brother Cobalt Flat Bars 780mm Wide
- Superstar Nano Tech Flat pedals (Black)
- Supertsar Excel Grips (Black)

There are some marks on the underside from locking the bike up at work, the sticker is slightly scraped off, doesn't look like there is any damage to the paint.

I will answer any questions you may have, I would like to avoid splitting, but if I cannot sell the bike whole, for a reasonable price then I will split it.

£1400 no posting and cash only on collection.

The thule ones have a much better attachment to the tow bar. Lots of stories of them cheap one falling off.

350 pounds? I bought a tobar mounted one for 76 euros. Im on holidays at the moment and have driven over 1000 miles.. Its worked perfectly. A van is a better option if you have it.. At least you dont have to worry about someone lifting the bike from your car

I just.looked at that thule one its 200 more because it has a handle to lock it to the tow bar from what I can see. That's brand name overpricing if ive ever seen it

Did a bit more exploring while doing a usual trail and ended up quite high up. Which meant coming back down again, which is always good. Had a ride on my pro mates Saracen today, I need more travel in the suspension for sure. 120 ain't enough.

45 fairly wet, windy and grey(and slightly hungover) miles today at 16.6mph average - kind of forgot what a head wind feels like - I now remember.

Least I got to try out new overshoes - they work lol. Its suddenly got very cold out there - Im getting out full winter gear tomorrow for rides this week. Think I need to get some warmer base layers as well - With these merino underlayers - do you just wear that? Or do you wear a summer base layer under it to wick sweat away? Those merino baselayers look like they might get a bit sweaty?

Yeah he come second! Steve Smith from Canada got first. Gee was 12th unfortunately after hitting a tree.

We had about 6 riders in the top 20!
