Thanks mate,alot of man hours gone into it. Bought it just after christmas and it's at end of Feb. Two months worth of tidying and painted.

I love how the heatshields look on the 20xe's really tidys it up when you look at them. Good work!

Cheers Bakes,yea i know what you mean. The main reason i want one on mine is to cover the manifold up but it will be wrapped anyways.

Will be getting a chrome one in the future to making it that bit more shiny.

Just been busy with work. Add to that dropping my Blackberry in the bath and whilst using an older crap Blackberry during the insurance claim, i smashed the screen New phone arrived today though
Just had no chance of getting on.


It sure does appear a lot of hours have gone into it, but it just makes the reward all the sweeter! Keep it up!

Haha Nath.

I'm going to be stopping up untill sunday day so that's like over 30 hours without sleep.

Little update 02.03.2012 :

As you know i've been wanting to wrap my manifold up like Kie's so i bought some other day and it turned up yesterday. Made a start on it before work. It's bloody hard to do as you've got to keep it tight but keep it neat at same time. I was managing though.

Here's some pictures :







And today i received a large box,hmmm i wonder what this could be?



Yep it were my :

Early round toothed timing belt kit
Water pump
Oil pump spring
Thermostat gasket
Dipstick tube gasket



So the plans are now to fit the gaskets myself and get all my jubilee clips tightened up. Tiger seal my rubber mounts and then go and pick crane back up from my dad's work. Get back and he'll make a start on doing timing belt etc and then get engine off crane and get gearbox bolted on. Then it'll be all ready for tomoz when the party arrive. Really do hope everything goes to plan. Really excited,wish us look Corsapsort.

did you drench the wrap in water? And keep it in the water while wrapping?

Also how much was the belt and water pump?
