we won 2-1 in the sheffield senior cup, came on just after half time at the score 1-0 to us, powered a header in from a corner that was really well saved, then 5 mins later run at the defenders on the break and sloted a perfectly weighted ball through into the box for my mate to score.

then 5 minutes later i put it over the bar from literally 2 yard out! i wasn't expecting it bobling through passed one of our players, caught it sweet but got a bit of back lift, it was one of those where its harder to miss than score, slightly gutted.
There was a bit of trouble at the end, a meathead on their side ended up with shirt off nearly fighting, A lad on our side pulled a blinder out "put thi carpets down and fuck off"

We played against a team that has been formed from a few teams higher up that have folded. Expected them to be very good.

They went 1 up. Dodgy backpass to the keeper and he kicked it straight at the attacker, their other forward tapped it in.

We scored from a pen 1-1.

Then like a complete cnut, I had the ball and couldn't get rid of it, ended up being pushed back towards my own goal and I lost it and they scored 2-1.

then on the 89th minute, bit of a scramble in their penalty area and i smashed it in . We could of won it right at the death but my strike partner didnt have the energy to finish properly.

2-2 was quite a good result i feel.

Played in Sheffield and Hallamshire cup, drew 2-2 after ET and lost 8-7 on pens.
I scored our second goal on around 80mins, we were 2-0 down at half time.

for some reason we have been put in the senior cup, it's a bit shit really as there is no way we will win that as it goes beyond are level and the final is played at Sheff utd ground. We would have had a chance at the junior one though.

Yes, it's a weird one, because if you don't enter you have to pay extra. I can't work it out.

nice one, could have met on the field at some point. We drew a team from the same division which we are expecting to win this year with the team we have.

fixture 33 for us, off to round 3, hope we don't get someone miles away and shit hot.

We won 8-2 yesterday against a team that lost 27-2 a few weeks ago. Didnt look like a team that should have lost 27-2 at first but defensively they were poor.

I started as sub. We were 4-0 up at half time. They clawed 2 back after half time. I came on with about 20 left and played left wing and according to my manager made a difference straight away.

My first contribution was running at the defence down the wing. Beat their right back for pace so the centre back came over to cover. I slowed down cut inside just inside the area and hit a shot on my right, dragged it a bit and went bout 1/2 foot wide.

Bout 5 minutes later got my first assist of the season. Played a 1 - 2 with our striker out on the left i got the ball back and again ran at the defence our striker made a brilliant run and I slid the ball through the defence for him to finish.

I was really pleased with my performance in all though I am still unfit.

Hopefully I did enough to show manager I want my starting place back after my injuries.

indeed, a bit more about our game, we won 10-0 but we had 6 attempts flagged offside from our own half and we hit the post twice and cross bar 4 times! very solid performance from the whole team, in the end the opposition were fighting amonst emselves and resulting to cheating i.e dodgy offsides and booting the ball out for miles!
