Mini Update : -

New engine is in, I asked the mech to take the Gearbox off before it went in and use the best clutch/thrust bearing etc from the two. Its now just down to plumbing and wiring and then seeing what problems (fingers crossed none!) Occur

They are meant to do a mid 15 but who knows. Will be slower than the corsa me thinks

But yeah you can get a ride in the car park

mines the exact opposite im 4x4 atm, on 18" a8 alloys and standard suspension treating myself to some coilies this week hopefully any recommendations?

I just went for a set of £365 FK's, couldnt justify spending £800 on a good set.

Wiring is being run back through the replacement engine so that it looks factory fitted again. Glad I'm not doing it as there are plugs and wires everywhere as you can see on the pic of this loom (which is up for sale)

if you can be arsed to de-insulate that wire it will be worth a bit for the copper as scrap if it doesnt sell

All wiring is done. one more driveshaft to go in and a little bit of plumbing to do. And need to get a ball joint from the subframe I've got. but based on what i just got told he should have it running tomorrow
