To be honest i declare all of my mods..even down to the £50 I pay for the bloody steinmetz grille

If I didn't i don't doubt i would get away with it....However if I caused a fatality I dont have a single doubt the loss adjusters would pull the car to pieces (including reading the map)

You take your chances etc.....a big payout for a familys loss of a lifelong income isn't something I would chance myself

when my old corsa got wrote off (didn't declare the mods - yeah i know was young and stupid heard it all before thanks so fuck off), they just asked me to pay the extra money for the premium and i got over 2k payout for a non fault accident

but technically, if his insurance allows him, in the event of an accident where the insurance company come and inspect the car and find said non declared mods, they could let him pay for them there and then, meaning his insurance is not invalid at all.

al they do is back date the payments for the modifications to when you first took out the policy.
