JR is gifted with neither sir.

[QUOTE=Zzz...Zzz;5449516]Sorry guys, but i REALLY would have wanted to just post a vid and some dynopapers here now...but I canīt!

The simple truth is that we have been having some serious problems getting, in particular, the mechanical fuel pump(doing 75prms at cranking giving 0bar pressure driving 1680cc injectors..) the LSX coils , and the engine management to work well together.
Hmm, actually to work together at all.

But long BORING story made short :
The LSX coils and plug wires, turned into an antenna , leaking into the cam sync sensor , and secretly corrupting the cam signal - wich in turn corrupts the firing order and makes starting even harder(take the fuel pressure into consideration..)
We only just found this after looking at every deatail with a scope , in frustration of not finding the fault.

So by the end of this week end weīll have modified the engine loom to accept a 12v hall sensor reporting for the cam instead of the 3v inductive sensor, and at the same time , leave the inductive sensor at the crank stay.

But a hell of alot of details have been taken care of since last update...its really shocking how much time it actually takes to finish everything completely...

now some photos...

Car at swedish magazine Bilsportīs Custom & Performance motor show

"Exhibitors Choice" is a show performance I am very pleased with, this is not a stand still show car and will not excel beeing at one I think, this car will excel and impress when doing what it is buit for - showing off itīs mental power!!!

Please wish us luck with the final run of modify the wiring AND gettig safe trough the dyno room, this build is reeeally starting to take its toll on us....!

Cheers and good night

They're brand new manifolds - any oil or residue on them burns off when the engine is run for the first time.
