Right then, update time.
I went to work on Saturday to get a few little things sorted out and did the following.
Changed the gearbox oil
Removed the sump, sorted out the bit where it was leaking, re fitted it and resealed it.
Fitted the alternator bolt
Fitted the alternator belt after fucking around looking for one the right size and luckily finding one
Removed the driveshaft on the offside, removed the bearing support, removed the snapped stud and replaced it with a new one.
Soldered on a new coil pack plug and plugged it in.
Checked over all the wiring to make sure it was on.
Sorted out the FPR vac pipe.
Checked all the boost hoses were tight.
and some other stuff which I can't remember now.
Basically, it's ready to put the fluids in and fire it up, and that would have been possible on Saturday if it wasn't for one fuckup from our Saturday lad (who, to be fair, was really helpful up until this point)
Basically, he broke the brand new starter motor which has left me with the expense of getting a new one at a cost of £65!
Anyway, next week, I need to swap the tyres over, get the starter swapped, get it all up and running and have the map checked before having a bit of fun next Monday.

Lever bar on the solenoid while levering something else into position.
He denies it, I know he did it.

I may have missed a vital part here, and can't be bothered to go back and find out, but why isn't it able to run, you broke it?

Basically, yeah, the head cracked and I've had it in bits, now has a new head and exhaust manifold on.
Today, the wheel studs have been changed over, as has the starter motor and all the other little jobs have been sorted.
It's ready to run later on.

Yeah man. Organised the tyre swapping for later today, so I'll be getting my first experience of more power, with brand new toyo r888s..... in the wet
Launch control should be wired up tonight too, and the car will be stripped out inside to give me an unfair advantage.
Needs lowering next

Basically, what happened was......
my exhaust 'fell' off
So we made a new one, which is fucking loud Really needs a box in it.
Erm, stripped the car too which took about 20 minutes without breaking any clips
This was an hour before I left work
Mapping and tyres today.
