if you sell it just because there is a couple of little problems your silly,it's took me a while to get mine up to scratch but it's nearly there, don't waste all your time and money just sort out the little problems then enjoy it for a while, once you have drove it properly you won't wan't to sell it anyway

Dont give up Jay. Its normal we encounter problems in anything tbf. From what you say- it wont take much for it to be running perfectly. And your love it come the summer months again, showing it off at shows etc.

There will be, get yourself over to migweb if you need help. Full of knowledgable fellows. And im sure the will lend a hand if you slip them some cash.

Cracking little motor and like said already dont sell it because of a couple simple problems. Its the job of building a car like this, your always going to get teething problems. Took me a couple of weeks to get my old corsa turbo right. But man was it worth it

Jay, if you're having that many problems with the ABS system, why not remove it?

I have thought about this actualy as it would solve a lot but im not sure how hard it is, i think you have to change something aswell I dont think its a case of just removing it.

But if I cant fix the abs problem them Ill look into removing it....

Do you know much if anything about the conversion itself?

Is it on big block machined down outer hubs or stock outers and 22 spline shafts?

Using motorsport shafts and big block cvs + m tech or similar hubs.

But just bought those above off ebay which will be the same apart from the shafts will be standard jobbies at a guess but can swap for my current ones if need be.

ABS isnt working due to a problem relating to abs rings on outer cv's so its causing the brakes to lock up when the pedal is pressed hard.

Any problems mate you know where i am.
Call me for a quote if you need someone to do it......

replace the CV and i am sure that will sort out the ABS, as for the brakes only thing i can think off is the vaccum pipe is colapsing when you press hard as i had to remove the full plastic item and replace with a rubber harden wall vaccum pipe.
maybe worth looking at mate.

This was said just to get the car threw a MOT just remove the light from the dash BUT i was not willing to do this on a customers car.
Again may be worth a look just to get you threw the MOT.

I didn't mean just removing the bulb, I meant physically removing the ABS system.
