He was online to tell me that the bank details in here were used to set up hooky direct debits and that it was planned by u2u on here, and that I'm in trouble.

No idea, I didn't consider it a massive security risk and really, if he was going a bit quicker sorting it there wouldn't be any requirement for me to find out where the money went.

I do find it rather ironic that HSBC want to phone me up about a post on a web site but they couldn't find 25 transactions for the same amount within a few weeks of each other.

Helpful when it suits them. Rather like Dave.

I take it he didn't have the 15 names to put forward, which any legit person would have given you to aid getting their name cleared as quickly as possible.
