Ha, imagine that.
It'd more likey be one of the twin turbo straight sixes if I did anything.
There's more to come from this engine though, easily another 50bhp and 100lb/ft

All of the above, turbo is the biggest issue, but even that's nothing major.

Are they 135i brakes?

Basically, yeah, the caliper is the same, just a different colour, the disc is the same size.
However, the complete kit, which is a pair of calipers, pair of discs, set of pads, new wear sensors and new heat shields, is cheaper than buying 2 new 135i calipers, which don't even come with bleed nipples!
Works out around £50 less than a pair of calipers for a complete brake it. Bargain price IMO.

That is strange, will you have to make up some calliper brackets or is it a bolt on job?

It's designed for the E90, comes complete with brackets.
Proper VFM really.
I'll get some more pics of the whole kit later before, during and after I fit them.

It is straight from BMW, straight from the main dealer down the road.

Ok, so this amazing reliable sensible car has now been at a garage for 2 and a half weeks having some things looked at.
This is the list;
Cold start misfire
Smoking on idle
Lack of power
DTC light comes on after abour 20 miles
Rattle from front suspension
Creak from front suspension
Suspension has become very stiff
Brake squeal
Exhaust rattle
Tracking is out
Might have been a couple of other things too.
Here's the conclusion I've had in that time;
"I think your turbo is fucked mate, that's why it feels slow"
So I'm a little fucked off at the moment, stuck without a car, started a new job last week and had to get lifts every day, the car has been looked at for what seems like about 3 minutes in 12 days and I still don't know how much it's going to cost me to sort it all out.
Priced a turbo up anyway and I'm glad I was sitting down, £850+VAT, plus fitting.
Can't even get rid of the damn car as I'm stuck in a finance deal which also means I can't really buy another car and park this one up as it'll cost me £280 a month just sitting there.
LAAAAAAMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
