My prediction would be Chelsea as champions, Man Utd/Arsenal battling for 2nd and Liverpool 4th with city, spurs, villa, everton etc. scrapping for the uefa cup positions
gonna take a serious sustained effort for anyone to break the top 4 IMO, villa wer ein the pos for a lot of last yr but they were so so lucky to be there, as soon as they lost form they nosedived spectacularly.
As a liverpool fan i'd be more worried about strength in depth and injuries than this wekeends performance as the squad looks dreadfully thin! Chelsea have some clas son the bench and I'd say Arsenal and particualry Man Utd have some decent player son the bench, maybe not game winners but decent enough players

its funny, as before the season had started (other than you!) 90% of people would of picked the top 3 as a mix of liverpool, United and Chavski.
One game doesnt change that imo.

I woudl have predicted us 3rd or 4th but i'm buoyed by the respective performances by everyone this weekend and also how think liverpools squad is, your bench yesterdya proved it tbh
i udnerstand it was the same when you got beat by atletico at home the other week too
youre right 1 weekend doesnt change much but everyone has been writing us off for weeks tbh base don very little.

Our bench was poor yesterday, but we were missing Aurelio, Aquilani (Lucas), Riera, Agger.
You've got to remember, we have only lost one player from last years squad, and thats Hyypia. Arbeloa got replaced by Johnson, and Alonso replaced by Aquilani.

Riera, forgot about him tbf. Babel was shite yesterday, Lucas didnt look too great (last chance saloon for him?) and the injured Aquilani. You seem short in CB, perhaps we can tempt you with the free transfer of a multi prem title winnign defender in our squad
Johnson looked good going forward yesterday but proved again hes a defender who cant really defend. Sagna is a bit like that IMO, everyone raved about him in his 1sts eason but when wenger reined him in ands made him stay in defence we begun to get caught out

Yeah Babel was poor yesterday, but saying that the whole team was tbh (other than Reina), hence the result.
Nath yeah other than those who have to qualify for europel - Arsenal, etc.

I predict a good slaying of stoke on wednesday, we have our blip out of the way early, we need a good result to get ourselves back on track, our pre-season wasn't exactly succesful but we'll get going on wednesday. I think arsenal played brilliantly against everton, but at the same time everton were pretty poor defensively at set peices and if the 2nd/3rd goals haden't been lost so cheaply then it wouldn've been a lot closer. Chelsea and Man united didn't exactly blow away lesser opposition it's anyones right now and I expect all top 4 to be there or there abouts until at least xmas.
