We actually didnt play all that bad, although were far from great, we just didnt take any of the chances we had in the first 15-20mins (we had maybe 3 or 4 great chances), and then paid the price from set pieces - fair play to Villa as they took the chances that came their way.

Milner looked great for you lot, we were linked with him a bit back in the summer and wished it was true, he proved today why.

We have conceded 5 goals this season, every one of them has been from a set piece.

We HAVE to drop Gerrard back into the centre until Aquilani is fit though, as although Lucas has played well so far this season he just isnt creative enough in the centre. Put Babel upto with Torres and play Gerrard in the centre with Masch.

Only 3 games in, long long long way to go yet.

See where all the teams are come xmas and you'll find the top 3 are the same as they finished last season.

He actually wouldnt of helped tonight.

What a sodding daft comment. Liverpool finished 2nd last season. You have as much chance of being in the top 3 as I have of shagging Amanda Bynes.

This year you will be out of it by that time again, last year was just a fluke.

Looking forward to seeing what fat Spanish waiter has to say. Saying that I heard he was going to leave soon so he could become the waiter he wants, so he can get to more silverware of course

Hardly a daft comment, we could go on and not get beat for the rest of the season. We could go on and get beat 3 more times and still win the league as United did last season.

Either way, its far too early to make a call just yet.

Losing two out of the first three games though Craig is a rather shoddy start of 'title contenders'

The thing is that ManUre, as much as I hate them, do not start well and keep going gear to gear until the finish. Liverpool set off, sometimes almost stall, sometimes flying through first and second but they always manage to fail to find 5th cog. United/Chelsea/Arsenal generally have a 6th gear as well. Last year you just got a lucky big hill you could coast down.

Hell, hadn't Rafa got 1 solitary point from ManUre until last year? You will not get 6 points from them again. You did that last year and still came second having lost 2 matches. You have no chance. I will put money on it now.

It was actually down to our draws at home that cost us (7 of them against lower sides), we've already gone better than that by beating one of the ones we drew with 4-0.

As I said, its a long long way from over and you cant write anyone off 3 games in.
