Bit personal in here
On a serious note, however he did it, it was a good effort.

So all the apparent years worth of research and planning was for 10 minutes worth of camera trickery....

Thing is
HE WILL NOT ADMIT IT'S CAMERA TRICKERY
The real trick will be on Friday, when he convinces us / brainwashes us to believe the way he 'did it'.
So on Friday I expect a whole load of you to go 'haha, fools thinking it was camera trickery' - but that's still most likely how he did it.

But Paul, how can you possibly say that? Have you got any proof that he will brain wash us and not admit it's camera trickery?

Finally someone who speaks sense in the media...
The Times:
http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article6828450.ece
quote: The thing we must expect of Brown, genius though he is, is that he will lie to us. Last night he claimed that an earlier meeting with Camelot, the lottery organiser, had established that the BBC had exclusive rights to announce the winning numbers first. This meant he could not show us the numbers on his ping-pong balls before the draw was made. But that, surely, was nonsense. It cannot be illegal to announce your prediction. He just didn’t want us to see them.
In contrast to the BBC razzmatazz fronted by a grinning Beatle called O. J. Borg, dark-suited Brown presented from a deserted studio staffed only by two cameramen, one of whom kept the plinth with the balls in frame throughout. So, how did the numbers get to the balls? Tiny radio-controlled projectors inside each of them? Your guess is as good as mine. What we needn’t believe was that Brown was nervous, that the trick was the culmination of a year’s planning and that identifying five out of six would have done him fine. Nor need we think that he can predict lotteries. If he could, he would be the next boss of Channel 4. They need the cash more than they need must-see TV.

I just think its funny that some people are like 'even if he gives the best possible explanation ever and it makes sence it will STILL BE CAMERA TRICKERY because I know best'

I agree, but trying to squish every inch of fun and suprise out it is pathetic. I enjoy wondering how he did it and my crazy wee ideas I dont care if he tells me a lie.. He could be god for all I care, I enjoy it. I wish I hadnt sold his tickets to go see Britney. The end.

You're right he does have sense, as not once does he mention it could be a camera trick.
