It is an XE corsa, but this last failure is sparking concern as i don't want to end up at the side of the road at say dundee and still have 60 miles to go! I'll be working on it this weekend so if all goes well and its running well then i may risk it, unsure yet though. Anybody any ideas as to why my car might suddenly cut out driving along the road, i.e any sensor etc that would cause this?
Another issue was when getting the car transported home on my mates trailer, as we were racking it up onto the trailer the exhaust was hanging a little bit and it's lowered, couldn't say any obstructions at first but then when we looked down again when the racking become quite tough one of the U-bolts joining the exhaust had catched on the trailer and bent the exhaust back on itself in 2 places. So looks like some rough butchery might be required aswell if i'm to get down  I shouldn't be allowed to own a car, it's always 1 step forward 2 steps back!

If you do come down and it fucks up I'm sure I could get you a lift back up your way on a trailer if it's the last resort.

Cheers, lets just hope it all goes to plan. Kinda thinking it might not be worth it because iv'e had nothing but ball ache from this thing and i don't think it's producing very good power. Only just managing to beat my mates relitivly standard starlet which shouldn't be the case!

cars getting MOTd on saturday and should pass as its only done 2400miles since its last MOT so its looking good for making it.
McWillster- hope you make it will be good to see mine against another fellow xe.

Think the new owner of my car will be buying it next week. I doubt i will have a car by the RR unless i spot something very soon. My mums scenic is shitting itself at the prospect of being revv'd over 3.5k

i think i might be able to atend this now i might have sorted things out for the day.im not 100% about having the corsa their but we have the old one (gaz's) their if we can get transport, hopefully it will run ok this time. i will keep you posted.
