Went to a abandoned hotel like that in the nurburg ring to have a gas BB gun war with 10 of us! Was a good day that. Walking round a place like that on your own tho ant nice lol. Freaky as fuck!

In the nurburg back lanes. Near adanal I think. It backs onto one of the straights on the track. Can watch the track from the roof

In a word no Chris been in Scotland for the week and got back today so went to the Bodyshop and this is how the car stands ...

Gearbox bolts
Header tank
Uprated fuel pump

The engine is nearly built up just need a few bits then it can be put in the bay

So the other day I was fitting my sump and this happened :/
The bolts were like chalk :/ eBay tat I suppose
Pair of mole grips and it was out
Bit annoying
My old c20xe went this morning so more bits for the let will be arriving soon gave the garage a clean aswell.

George, just check bolts aren't too long. I run a tap down all mine to make sure they
don't bottom out, this can also crack the block....

Thanks daine, I'm going to measure them against the old bolts , think the old ones will be going back in as they are a lot stronger, good idea about running a tap down the hole I'm going to do that in future

Still in primer michael still let me drive to the garage without telling me it wasn't painted :/
He's moved it and started wet sanding it
Was a little and aswell when I saw this !
Got cheered up when I got home and saw this

Water pump , timing belt kit and X2 sump gaskets
I'm going back to kick I mean see Michael on Thursday to see if it's going to be painted.
Should have some new parts arriving this week aswell.

Daine I still need the rocker back from paint then if will be done. Probably be finished 100% next week

Rubber gasket is bonded onto baffle plate, less chance of it leaking, that type you have tends to leak even when new
