awesome - that looks really good actually. Will be good online if everyone is fighting their cars like that.

I wonder what laptimes will be like pad vs wheel. I'd hope like that GT Academy thing, that the wheel is actually faster.

I may at least change the gear knob on mine as it feels crap ... having a larger wheel would be nice too.

Really looking forward to it now... one thing which sucked about forza was the fact I couldnt use the g25 to control it.

paul, that last vid with the nsx is exactly what its like, fighting the wheel all the time its brill... and its the only racing game ive played inc lfs where toe and healing on down shifts stabalize the car prevnting the rear kicking out. it HAS to be done if u want to be quick.

and im sure the wheel useres will be faster.

i was faster than all u lot on forza on a wheel even tho id not even played the game for a day.

the standard cars do look shit compared to the premiums but they are still effected by damage and the physics are the same as premium cars..

i just wanna. go home and rag the shit out of that tuned lotus!!

what i find impressive is that even in gt5P i setup the lotus how ive setup my vx, camber, toe power to weight etc and it handled quite spot on.

It's just annoying how you can't really tune the cars that much

Chris what did you think to that chillicokes modifications to his wheel / pedals. I really would love to do what he has done, but I dont have the frame etc. I like his handbrake too.

Ultimately though the pedals mounted upside down would be so much better.

I may buy myself the wheel adaption kit / paddle kit for christmas.

I just find the standard g25 wheel feels too small.

thats what I hate about the standard pedal position... being sat upright on them makes it feel like you're driving a truck

yup, but unless you have some sort of frame or playseat then its just going to be worse, i thought about getting that vision racer playseat but there is just nowhere to put it.

im used to mine now, and i do drive a truck everyday so its kinda 2nd nature now lol.

when do you get your ps3?

should have my ps3 in a few days.

On wednesday I'll trade a few things in and hopefully pick up GT5P 2nd hand.

Got my GT5 pre ordered.

Chris, what does you GF think of you sitting at the wheel racing? You have to admit, it makes us look like the saddest fucks in the world when at the wheel

It's like that chillcoke guy above, I really like his setup and think it's awesome, with reversed pedals, handbrake etc... but ultimately to anyone else he looks like a major loser.

What's worse is he can't hide any of that.

yeah I wish I had - had my own ps3 and been playing for a while when that series came out.

I wonder if they'll do another GT Academy in the near future? Probably not.

ps3 exclusive mate.. which means yes you need to get a ps3, or wat for some sort of emulater to run ps3 games on the pc.
