All the forecasts I've seen have pointed to dry days over the weekend. If everyone is happy to do so, we'll keep the date and hope for decent weather and play things by ear. Obviously if the snow begins again, I'll have to start thinking about rescheduling it :-|

Snow should only really be an issue for people when they're leaving their houses, the road down to the Darleston is busy enough to be clear and the motorways are fine. We had a December meet there a couple of years back where we came out of the pub at about 9pm, there was some ice on the car park but skim over that and it was a clear run home so it's only if people get snowed in at home that it could be a problem imo

Exactly. At the moment, providing it doesn't snow anymore, we'll be fine. If we get lots of snow Saturday night then the chances of people willing to leave won't warrant having the meet considering the numbers we have ATM. But yeh as you said, all main routes are fine so as it stands, we're sound

We're gonna struggle to fit us all on the carpark. The bottom one which I tried to get designated to us has been closed due to ice

Yeah, wouldn't fancy trying to get out of that bottom car park in the MR2, especially with those speed bumps

The first time NWNW had a meet there it was fairly massive and having us all parked at the far end of the carpark wasn't a problem and that was in August on a nice, warm, sunny day, this time it's December and there's snow on the ground so it's probably not gonna be all that busy anyway, until we turn up

its raining in Stoke,only lightly but the snow that's left is melting quickly!bottom car park might be open tomorrow if that's the case-haven't seen a forecast so don't know what its going to be doing later though.just washed the car so Im ready now!

just been to the darleston bottom car park is open with cars on it. there is snow on the car park but this rain should wash it away
