Just got some fucking cock who was walking down the road expecting traffic to move onto the other side of the road (on a hill i may add where traction is at a premium) across all the slush and the like when there was a perfectly good snow covered pavement to walk along. Well i did move across, just enough to drive right through the slush and soak the cunt. Got called a fucking wanker by him so dropped my car at home and went and had a go back. Fucking old bastard.

Hate muppets like that, should've knocked him down and blamed it on the snow plus him walking in the fucking road . Is gay when (not in this case) they grit the roads and not pavements which last year were pure ice, so I walked in the road too but had the common sense to move if a fucking car is coming.

Shitcunts. The sound of the heaters on '5' for 2 hours was doing my box in

Was driving at him thinking he will move any minute onto the pavement but he never did. Blind bend just after where the incident happened so there was no chance i was moving fully onto the wrong side of the road.
He had slush up to his thighs when i caught up with him on my bike

What a nightmare I've had today.
I don't think Essex County Council were prepared for this at all, or it just took them by suprise.
I left my house at 6am and there was an inch or so of snow on the cars. I thought the journey would be abit slower but not too bad.
Well the further south down the county I got the worse it got. My commute to Basildon usually takes about 45mins, (Its 44miles)
Well today I got to work at 9.20am, 3hrs 20mins after I left.
On the A12 there were two vans that had collided in the middle of the carrageway, then the A130 was a nightmare. Anyone that knows the road will no it has a few big hills, well the lorries simply couldn't get up or down them, there was a jack-knifed lorry blocking the way too.
Then the A127 was solid. Basildon/Southend area seem to have it a lot worse than Colchester.
3hrs 10mins to work, on site for 45mins and 2hrs home.
Fuck Off Snow!

Alex I feel your pain, was sat outside the fire building at kelvedon for about an hour. A12 was a nightmare, and the gritters only seemed to be coming out this morning.

grittings doesn't do anything with snow anyway; snow plough and decent tyres is the best way forward - in fact the snow socks are quite effective instead of full on chains even on shitty tyres

Couldn't be bothered to get my autosocks out for the sprinkling we've had today here, but you are right, more than you could need in this country tbh

More snow for us tonight, all schools in our area closed tomorrow again
West Lothian Council - We are expecting up to 20cm of snow overnight and low temperatures so we have taken the decision to close all schools in West Lothian tomorrow. Every school day is important. If the weather improves tomorrow it is our intention to reopen schools on Thursday.

If when the snow does settle here I shall assume the role of smug 4x4 driver like I did last year.
