can anybody give me any tips on how to avoid shaving rash on my neck? always get it bad even when i shave the same way the hair grows.

have to shave every other day if i want to have a smart looking goatee.

Use an electric shaver, I never clean shave for that reason.

never had one of those, only ever used trimmers and razors.

how do you shape round the sideburns with them?

how often do you shave? i used to get shaving rash really badly when i shaved once or twice a month, now im doing it every other day i dont get it at all. use sensitive shave gel, its worth spending the extra on and apply it properly rather than just smearing it on and then use moisturiser

used to shave all the time, then for about the last 5 years i've just use trimmers and shaved occasionally (once a month or so).

i've tried every brand of sensitive shave gel/foam there is and still get the rash

use moisturiser every day.

id just say shave more oftenand you'll get used to it.
one thing i found good was rather than one long stroke down your neck move up and down 5mm up/down slowly going down

I didn't start til Saturday 5th, and i'm not shaving it into a 'tache until there's a bit more growth The 'tache part in particular appears to grow in a blonde colour too which doesn't help
