It's the 10 hills which are going to be the killer, includes Box Hill. I guess when you go up a hill there is always a down, which is much more fun.

You'll be ok. I want to ride up box hill, only because I keep hearing about it on TV

If anyone uses the Strava app there is a challenge starting in a week where you have to ride over 1400 miles in a month.

45 Miles a day in May then, very hard to do that!

Yeah! Ive got a couple of sportives in May but they will only account for about 130 miles.
If the weather sorts itself out I could do the 45 miles a day buy cycling round Poole Harbour round to the Purbecks but it would be hard work towards the end.
Good for fitness though.

Great for fitness, but just really hard to physically fit it into a day! Id happily do it if I worked 22.5 miles away from home, but its less than 2 miles.

Im same as you mate. I live 0.9 mile away from my shop. Not worth getting the bike out. I normally just go out for an hour or so of an evening when I get in. With the lighter evenings and nicer weather we get in May (I hope) I think I could give it a good shot. Maybe a few 45 mile rides in evenings then a bigger one on my days off. Could be done.
Maybe.

Had a day off today so decided to take the bike out, managed 21.5 miles in 1:39mins. That was a mixture of half road half canal. Glad a got my self a little mud guard this morning, £8 well spent.
I downloaded the trackmyride app for the iPhone, I find it pretty good

Ive used that, map my run/ride and strava and I would say that strava is the best so far for me.

Considering selling the track bike, I'm skint and I'm not sure I can afford to justify having it sitting there doing nothing any takers?

Haven't read through the thread, but, How do people measure the distance's they've cycled?!
I want to start cycling regularly throughout the summer and want to pick some routes and measure how far i've gone?!
