Can't wait for this weekends efforts.
Lewis quickest in the practice again...!
Button being a boring driver...... You obviously don't watch much of him. He's quality!
He can start 15th+ on the grid and still end up 3rd / 4th. Overtaking all the drivers he did, must make him boring.

Exactly! The only excitement I get from watching hamilton is waiting for him to stack it into a barrier or trying to get knee deep up Massa's exhausts.
Lewis is wreckless and there are more interesting drivers in than him in that category, kobayashi for one.
Plus he's a moody cunt who blames everyone else for his mistakes, the Dalgleish of F1.

Kobayashi is a great driver imo, deserves the 'OvertaKING' title
Could also say that Hamilton is the Plato of F1

i've watched every race for the last 10 years or so.
i just find him boring in that he seems to make most of his overtakes when other cars pit because he keeps his tyres better.
hamilton is a ball out psycho nutcase and i prefer that style of driving for my entertainment.
i know button is a quality driver, i just don't find him as fun to watch. can't remember the last time i saw him get the back end out of the car.

He had the back out a bit last year, I remember after one of the qualifying sessions Lee McKensie asked "where was the oversteer coming from?" Buttons answer - "the back" Quality answer

The rules play into Buttons hands because of the way he drives the car. Hamilton is going to struggle this year unless he changes his driving style, which is incredibly hard to do.
There's no doubt on a one off lap, with the car at its peak, Hamilton is the quicker driver but the rules dont reward the fastest guy anymore in a sense, its more to do with balancing speed and tyre management, something Button is very good at.
All depends on your views on which style of F1 you prefer. Both take high amounts of skill, but i prefer to see drivers on the edge every lap.

Button is on the edge every lap hes just smooth so dont look like it. U have to remember for 98% of a race the top 3/4 are within half a second of each others lap times.

Im talking about the difference between a quali lap on low fuel levels/perfect tyres and a fully loaded car with degrading tyres.
Theres a big difference between the too. You dont drive them the same. Lewis will more often than not do Button in quali when its all about speed at the edge of what the car can do but Button is better at maintaining the tyres and still doing decent times. When Hamilton tries to keep up he destroys his tyres because of his driving style, which is very aggressive compared to Button's.

McLaren 1-2, too hard to call which order though, should be Hamilton if he gets his head together but I can see him getting passed in the pits somehow. Backing Raikkonen for a sneaky 3rd too, Red Bulls/Mercedes, Alonso, Maldonado, Perez rest of top 10.

I reckon MSC will be splitting the McLarens after turn 1 - not sure which way round the macca's will be though, Lewis might panic too much after his clutch issues last week and blow the start through nerves.
Will be interesting to track Vettels progress on the hards too.

I think the Mercs will destroy their tyres in that heat, that's also why I think Button will pass Hamilton in the pits, Hamilton will more than likely have to pit first, if Button is close enough he could put a fast lap in with clean air, pit and get back out in front.
Rain could make things very interesting though, been a long time since Schumacher has had a chance to dominate in the wet.
